Thank you for visiting Atanie's Hope.

“Atanie’s Hope” is a collaborative effort of groups and individuals, companies and civic organizations in east Tennessee and beyond, to rebuild a home for these girls and others like them.  But that’s not all . . .

The vision of “Atanie’s Hope” is to give hope and a future to the children and communities of mountain regions of southern Haiti by:

  • Rebuilding the school and church facility that collapsed in Coq Chante – Giving 350+ school children the opportunity to continue their education, and restoring a critical piece of this whole community.
  • Building a new Regional Orphanage for Girls – Located on a recently purchased tract of land in the nearby community of Camatin.  This facility could house up to 100 girls from villages throughout the neighboring communities of the mountains of southern Haiti.
  • Funding a new Regional Orphanage for Boys – Located in an existing facility adjacent to the site of the new orphanage for girls.  This facility would eventually be able to accommodate up to 100 boys.
  • Building a new Primary School/Secondary School/Church Facility between the two orphanages—Providing educational and vocational training, and life skills to equip these children to change the future of their nation.

Special Thanks to WBIR and Russell Biven for their continued support and partnership.
